How much revenue is your practice losing?

Four numbers you already have, benchmarked against published industry ranges. Nothing is required to see the result — no email, no form.

Your numbers

Nothing you type here is sent anywhere until you press Calculate, and we never ask for patient data.

Enter your numbers to see the estimate

The calculator combines three losses that practices usually count separately: denials that are never appealed, receivables that age past the point of collection, and the staff cost of reworking claims that failed on first pass.

If you do not know your denial rate or your A/R ageing, that is itself the finding — and it is the most common one we report back.

What the calculator assumes

Stated openly, because an estimate whose assumptions are hidden is not useful.

Unappealed denials

It assumes 60% of denied claims are never appealed to resolution, which is the pattern we see in practices without dedicated denial staff. If yours are all worked, this line is lower.

Ageing recovery

Balances past 90 days are valued at benchmark collection probability, which falls below 30% past 120 days. It does not assume anything about your specific payers.

Rework cost

Each denied claim is costed at the low end of the published $25–30 rework range. That is staff time, not lost revenue, so it is shown separately.
